Aoife 24th July 2019

I had the privilege of knowing Sam for many years through my sister Sian. Sam would arrive at our home with a beautiful smile and those gorgeous blue eyes so full of love and laughter. He was always so polite and such an absolute gentleman. It is a testament to his character that he text me just a couple of weeks ago to wish me a happy birthday and Sean good luck in his final exams. He was always so kind and thoughtful, especially to my boys, who looked up to him and enjoyed his company so very much. I have so many memories of Sam; his face at charades at Christmas in our mad house, him laughing so hard at my Beyoncé hair in Portugal, arriving with the chocolate boots for the boys, the drinks in that bar in Chelsea and so many more. I am so, so glad I got to know this special guy in his too short life, and we will remember you always. I am even more glad that my sister got to be loved by such a wonderful person. She was very lucky to be loved by you Sam and I know she will carry you in her heart forever. I wish you hadn’t been taken so soon from your family and all those who loved you, it is so tragic and so unfair. My deepest sympathies to Bob, Kay, Louise, Cooper and Marnie. I cannot imagine what you are going through and I am so very sorry for your loss. As I said to Sian, the world is a worse off place without your beautiful Sam. Thinking of you now and always. Rest in peace Sam. With love from Aoife, Eoin, Sean and Darragh.
